[Short] - I don't take business advice from someone whose financial power is significantly greater than mine
The short version.
Chances of their advice being relatively outlandish is too likely.
Those who are in the same trenches as me are the ones who understand the conditions.
Once founders level up financially, they tend to have a “should-have, shouldn’t-have” phase, as they transition into a new mentality to face new types of challenges.
Suspiciously, these tend to be replaceable with “I will, I will not.” Both sets (should/shouldn’t) tend to normalize into a reduced “do” ruleset, burying the actual knowledge of how they got there. They don't need it anymore.
